The opening Ladder on 19th May 2013, a Ladder which will run through until the 31st May 2013 is as follows:
The fundamental rule about challenging is that you can Challenge the following number of rungs, or places, above you on the Ladder;
Challenger rung position from 1 until 20 – 4 rungs
Challenger rung position from 21 until 30 – 6 rungs
Challenger rung position from 31 until the bottom – 10 rungs
this is known as “reach provision”, however, there are a number of circumstances where Players do not count in the calculation of the rungs allowed and these are as follows.
Players highlighted with a full yellow stripe are on “Jungle Rules” and currently in the Jungle – and are ignored for are the purposes of the “reach provision”.
Players on home leave, sick leave or business visits of five days or more are indicated with a full orange stripe, once again they may be ignored for the purposes of the ”reach provision”. Planned leave is indicated with the dates in the far right column with a short orange stripe. Going on leave or a long business trip? – then let us know!!
Players who have reached at least the minimum number of Challenges accepted of 2 (or 3 for an occupant of a Top 25 rung at the time of Challenge) and who have decided not to accept any more are indicated with a dark blue stripe. And yet again, they may be ignored for the purposes of the “reach” provision.
