The challenge process is simple and straight forward, however, even making a cup of tea can look complex when broken down into its component steps, so don’t despair!
Anyway, here is what is involved in a challenge.
From the perspective of the Challenger:
- Identify an opponent no more than four rungs above you on the current Ladder (Players with yellow, orange or blues stripes may be ignored for the purpose of counting rungs)
- Agree a time and place to play with your opponent using the contact details PDF provided to you by e-mail
- Play best of five frames (a race to three)
- Complete and return the simple Excel based “Challenge Data Return” to be found here to Tangga.Bilyard.Jakarta@gmail.com
From the perspective of the player challenged (the Challengee):
- Receive the challenge and agree location and time/date (your choice)
- Play best of five frames (a race to three)
From the perspective of the player who wins:
- It is your responsibility to complete and return the simple Excel based “Challenge Data Return” to be found here to Tangga.Bilyard.Jakarta@gmail.com
Optionally, and we encourage it, Players may choose to register the challenge with TBJ ahead of time by completing the “Challenge Data Return” minus the result, and sending it to Tangga.Bilyard.Jakarta@gmail.com. Simple advice of the details from a smart phone is also acceptable if sent to the same address.
Challenges and Results are visible on the website no more than 24 hours after receipt by TBJ.
