The evening’s play was notable for a couple of things, firstly the first Challenges played by Aphro Maroon’s Ab’s Daoudi in over a month when he started the long haul back to the Top Ten with a couple of convincing wins at Everest over Robert Humberson and then Suresh Lingam.
Second of note was that three of the four Challenges played involved a Suresh Lingam who was also to lose 3-1 to Robert Humbeson before moving on to The Dungeon where he successfully defended 3-1 against Paul Cross. Suresh is the very model of a Ladder Man, always keen to play, flexible, willing to travel, pleasant in victory and smiling in defeat - and possesed of a never changing and pleasant disposition.
